Is it necessary to to update the plus controller before a mouse will work. I just got my new controller and I am so confused. Lol ---

We just received our plus controller. We installed the latest update and when a USB mouse is connected it locks the controller. A couple of times an icon appeared on the upper left side of the screen when the USB portion of the mouse was inserted but neither the mouse or touch screen will work after that. The only way to get it to respond again is to cycle the power supply. Hopefully someone knows the solution. ---

I’ve only used the mouse when using the Plus stand alone. Mouse replicates moving the arm about. Not sure you’re supposed to use the mouse when connected to the Droid. Never tried it that way. ---

You need a wired mouse it has power issues now putting more strain on the power supply will shot things down.
