# Cutting on the side of the line instead of the center

Could someone please explain how to make it cut either side of the line instead of the center, I’ve tried the left cut/right cut function but it seems to stay in the middle.

Make sure your kerf width is set correctly. The left or right offset( outside or inside cut) will be based off the kerf width measurement. Under proper setup, kerf width should be approx. 30% larger than your nozzle size.
