The steel logo was more recent after getting the settings dialed in better. The length, close to 30 inches, is about the size limit in a straight line. It’s 8 or 9 inchs wide. I understand, it’s a tough choice, I had ordered a crossfire pro last year. It ended up delayed several times and I found out about the ArcDroid. After thinking about it, the Simple Trace feature and potential future upgrades and uses outweighed the extra cutting space. Also it was compact enough I knew I’d have space since it was my intention to also get a CNC mill. With all that in mind, it really depends on your use case. Proabbly 95% or more of what most people would cut can be done with the ArcDroid. Ya, there’s larger stuff I may want to cut but, I’d split the file into piece and weld stuff together if I had to. But that wouldn’t make sense if I were doing it for a business and had a lot of larger things to cut. Then I would look at the Crossfire Pro. Good luck, hope you can land something! Trade secret…haha There are several ways you could do it. I welded nuts to the back of everything (aluminum for the letters, SS for the logo) and bolted it all together. Since I couldn’t cut it all one go, for alignment, same idea as a story stick, I made a story board. Basically just made spacing marks on it. Almost like making a template but done right on the mounting board, marked on masking tape. I did pre-defined measurments on the letters so I would know where to place nuts and have it all line up. And made a custom alignment tool so I could get nut placement centered on each letter. I also looked at some other Youtube videos on hanging individual letters using wall anchors, and I think that I just try to over think things 😉.
