# Torch fires on test run regardless of button being on off

Hey guys . I recently got my hypotherm 45 hooked up to the arc droid and made a few cuts . Only problem is that the torch lights off when I do a test run !
When I do a test run with just the stylus it sounds like it is tripping the solenoid in the machine to activate the torch

Known issue - update your firmware and simple trace , this will fix the “dry run” not working issue- download in the support section.
