Torch Indicator/Stylus options

Hi all I’ve received my new ArcDroid plus controller over the weekend, and have it installed. I’ve a question regarding the Torch indicator icon - it used to be on the older version but I cannot see it on the new controller. Previously I used to switch the torch indicator on the screen to the off position , to perform a dry run. Then when I was happy with the dry run, would change the icon to on, and the plasma would start cutting.

How can I do this on the new controller? I have the stylus unplugged from the ArcDroid. However the stylus icon is remaining on (visible) on the new controller and it doesn’t allow the plasma to start cutting. What am I doing wrong???

That’s the on / off for the torch, Or is that not showing up at all?

Hi Thanks for replying When I remove the stylus the on/off for the torch is not visible. The stylus button remains on the screen as if the stylus is connected. When I manually hit the switch on the plasma it starts cutting.

Have you tried going back to the standard controller to see if there is the same problem? It might be a problem with the jack socket in the Droid’s base. I think they use an auxiliary contact on the socket that is opened/closed upon insertion of the jack.

Hi @BobD I’ve tried the standard controller and all works fine. When I moved over to the new Arcdroid Plus controller this option is still not visible. So I just don’t know what the issue is?

Is everything updated on the plus controller?. Maybe try to re update, do you have any other add ons you could try like the marker?

Have you gotten the updated power board?

Get in ahold of tech they can troubleshoot with you.

It turns out my problem was due to outdated firmware, so after an update my problem was sorted.
