I can get a used in like new condition with machine torch style hypertherm for $2500, or get the HTP plasma cutter for around $1600+ tax with hand torch . I would probably buy neither and go get the Harbor Freight Titanium 65 amp Plasma cutter. You can send me the change if you really want to blow 2500 dollars. I have the Hypertherm 45XP and love it. The consumables last forever and they are readily available. There are also a ton of options for them. Buy once, cry once…FYI the 45XP will sever cut that same 1-1/8" hammer…It is not 1-1/2".
