Press brake dies

I found this super handy site with more press brake dxfs than you could imagine. Super handy for making laminated dies.
I just looked thru their catalog until I found what I wanted and downloaded it.

021.207M is the 4 sided die I think most people would want
018.141 is the punch I think I want, they also have gooseneck punches

Heres a dxf of them together

Thanks for that, just downloaded the perfect gooseneck for my press!

So how does this work? Obviously the pieces shown would be way to thick to cut.

It all depends on what your cutter will cut, and what size die you want. Mine is rated for 25mm but I haven’t got any 25 so I just cut a dozen from 12 mm and welded them together to form a 144mm die. Simple…

ah okay, that’s kind of what I was thinking but thought it may be hard to keep it all straight. Did you just grind it after? Would you happen to have any pics? I’m currently making a small hydraulic press brake at the moment. I have the hypertherm xp 45 and was able to cut 5/8" pretty clean. Would probably just get 1/2’ FB what ever with I deeded and do it that way. Thanks for the clarification.

I used oxy fuel, cuts perfectly straight and no weird bevel issues with sharp corners
