Thc setup with older hypertherm45

So im new to the arcdroid world and im setting up the thc with my hyperther45 with a machine torch. cant get this thing to stop running in to the material. Im running on auto set piont and its like the torch is doing the opposite of what it should do the tc goes in the the negative and it starts really dragging the torch hard… i check my polarity on my wires and everything is right but i tried switching wires to see what would happen and its worked but the th was reading 0 the entire time so im kinda lost at this point haha help!!
