Has anyone tried using one of these diamond tipped ‘scribes’ with their Arcdroid.
I would be curious what kind of settings would be necessary to make this work i.e. ‘cut height’ and how it would work with touching off and setting the right height to actually scribe.
Interesting stuff - Would love to hear what AM thinks of this.
In a similar fashion, I was thinking about putting a MIG welding torch in place of the plasma to create 3D weld designs
We bought one of these to give it a go and it works alright
You do need to fiddle the cut heights etc to ensure you have some down pressure on the scriber and you definitely need to clamp the machine and material down.
