Hypertherm post flow behavior

Powermax 65 and 45xp

I am trying to figure out what everyone is doing for post flow.
I am tied into the trigger wires right now and if the post flow isnt finished it will shut off instead of piercing.

I am manually tapping the trigger just before the pierce to terminate the post flow so it will pierce.

Does the cpc port make it so it fires whenever regardless of whether its on post flow mode or not?

I have a 45xp and a 85sync, for both I used the CPC port/cord from hypertherm but this only works with a machine torch. The mini machine torch that I have on my 45 is way more accurate then the full size machine torch on my 85 because the longer torch causes the arm to wobble.
As for the post flow both machines will pierce when ever regardless of the post flow.

I’m having the same issue on a hypertherm Powermax 65 using the machine torch and having the Arcdroid torch output connected to pin 3 and 4 of the hypertherm cnc port to trigger the pierce and cut. When I try and do a bolt circle the first hole is good but when it moves to do the second hole the hypertherm is still in it’s 20sec post flow, the AD will retouch off for the second hole and trigger the pierce but that causes the hypertherm to shut off the gas flow! This makes an incomplete hole of course. Is this a known issue? is there a work around other then hitting pause for 20 sec on every new pierce that occurs before the 20 sec post flow is complete?
