I have been trying for days to find something for Mac that is not too difficult i.e. python and other terminal stuff I have no experience with. I am frustrated and have not found any solutions. I bought scan2cad and it freezes when I load the dxf file. Does anyone have a solution? I have a new Mac using the latest software. I have a lot of experience in the 3D printing and scanning environment, I would be surprised if there isn’t something like the many slicers out there for something as simple as the equivalent of one Z layer of gcode for a plasma cutter. Apologies for the rant and if there is already a thread on this. If so please help!
Here is something I found online.
Maybe it will help.
Welcome to the Arcdroid world.
Start making sparks.

@Ext909 Thank you for sending that. Any idea how to configure estlcam? Under the download section here on this site it says " ESTLCAM DOWNLOAD: Easy to use CAM software that has native ArcDroid Integration” under the settings menu within Estlcam>Basic Settings>Presets> I don’t know what hardware to enter. There is no mention of “Arcdroid” or any machine by name…sounds like I need to know the hardware within the arcdorid. Maybe I am looking in the wrong place? Estlcam says I need to configure it before continuing. Sorry for being such a newb
I bought Estlcam & Estlcam, $60, before I figured out that there is a download on Arcdroid.
Anyway, when you download Estlcam, at the top right hand side of screen you will see where you can enter your tool.
That is where I set up the Arcdroid!
I only use Estlcam to convert DXF drawings to gcode.
It is very simple, you download the drawing you want to convert, highlight what you want to cut, by using the tools on the left side of screen, set zero, run tool path.
If there is anything you don’t like at this point, you can go back to your drawing and work on it.
If everything is ok, then download to thumb drive, load onto Arcdroid and make sparks.
Oh, by the way, I don’t put any parameters in, except kerf.
I enter everything else in settings on Arcdroid.
I may be going about everything the long way, but CAD-CAM is all new to me and I am too old and hard headed to go get a proper education on CAD-CAM.
I hope this helps.
Happy cutting,
