The New Compatible Plasma Cutter List

There are people using that plasma cutter @Riksart
There is also a thread on that plasma cutter in General discussion just a little ways down the list of topics.

Dumb clarification.

Thermal Dynamics Cutmaster 40 is not on this list…Should I verify? I have looked thru owners manual and cannot find if it is HF start.
Thank you,

Has anyone tried the hobart 27i yet?

Shouldn’t this work?
Rated as best CNC Plasma Cutter for Hobbyists here: Lotos Supreme LTP5500DCNC"

Do you have any more updates on how well the yeswelder worked with arcdroid?

Hey Mike do you own hammer cycles?

No, I do not. Just a screen name from many years ago.

Ah ok,lol brought a bit of bike gear off these fellows some time ago while customizing a motorbike. I 've just purchased an Arc droid haven’t set it up a table for it yet can’t wait though. All the best.

Works great. I’ve been using mine with the ArcDroid for over a year.

Il serait possible d’avoir la liste dans un onglet spécifique dans le menu général du site . Si elle existe déjà , elle se trouve où ? Merci

hello to all, is it really necessary to move towards a lotos ltp7500cnc or a simple ltp8000 would do the trick, the 7500 is only available on Alibaba and I have never bought from them.
THANKS

hello, are there any users of hynade CUT80NP? What is your feedback on thicknesses of 20/25mm? Do we need to drill before cutting a hole? THANKS

Greetings from Sweden.
Has anyone tryed the Vector Welding New York 2500?

Hi there

I had a look and it appears it is not compatible with the ArcDroid. It uses a High Frequency start pilot arc system.
Additionally the multi process machines TIG/MIG/Plasma are usually not very good units and do all the things poorly.

Hello Andrew.

Thank you for fast answer.
Obviously you havent tried the Vector.
I will try to find a solution or someone who has tryed with the Vector.

Thanks again.
Regards Birger

Hi Gorden i too have a viper and it cuts fine for the first cut but when it stops and starts another cut it fails to start. After about 10 seconds and when the air stops it will restart but its to late then and the arcdroid is well on is way doing the rest of the cut but not cutting. It like it has a delay in it.
Do you or have you had any problems such as these .
Thanks in advance . Andrew.

Quick answer while I’m passing through the airport

This sounds like a problem with your air solenoid in your plasma cutter. In order to restrike the Arc the air has to Cycle which means shutting the solenoid off and back on again really quickly…If it’s sticking then it won’t do the fast cycle it needs to get the arc going again. This also explains why it will relight after the air times out.

Check with the manufacturer of your plasma cutter and they my have a recommendation on repair

Wow thanks for the fast reply. I will look into this.
It’s an awesome little machine .
Thanks again for your help

Please add Eastwood Versacut 60. Works just fine!!

ADMIN NOTE
The Eastwood Versa Cut series are Incompatible with the ArcDroid and can cause damage. This plasma cutter will not be added to the list

In Australia. The Unimig Razor 80 is compatible and has a cnc port, making connection a little easier.
