so i have been having troubles getting my powermax 65 to communicate with the arc droid i have the the cnc port and the cabling for it all hooked up properly. I also got the machine torch and the jumper wire but even with all that the torch will not turn off when its going to one point to another and after im done cutting.
Have you tried running the file without the cable connected to the arc Droid? If the torch still stays on then it sounds like you have a short circuit on the trigger wires, if the torch goes off it could be a problem with the arc Droid relay.
That would be my 1st test - see what’s keeping it on
If you have the machine torch and the cnc cable you should not be using a jumper in the plug. That could easily be your problem. Machine torch has no safety switch to bypass.
