Accuracy of cut part's (solved)

Hi All,

Finally got the droid set up and working, however after trying a few test cuts, (rectangle 50mm x 25mm x 3mm) using the l-cut which is outside i believe, the rectangles are coming out at 49mm x 23mm x 3mm. Kerf is set at 0, the part was drawn within the handheld unit, i’m not sure how to get the accuracy correct, can anyone help?

set kerf to be 0.5mm

not a noticeable difference i did try it at 10 and still coming out the same size! thanks for the response

My mistake was editing the same part but for some reason it was reverting back to the original hence the same results, i deleted the part started a fresh and set kerf to 1.25 and got the result i was happy with, thanks for the help @Matt_UK you gave me the starting point i needed.

I’ve red where kerf should be set about 30% of your tip diameter…1 mm tip= kerf 1.30
Works for me…
