So I am trying to trace a very simple pattern, basically a square with 2 to 3 holes on each side. I start the trace by marking/tracing the holes first (as per the videos I have watched). I mark/trace like 2 holes and then on the 3rd I hit the button on the panel or the stylus button but it does not mark anything. It shows me that the stylus is in a different location but no matter what button I push it does not mark the hole (as in show the little red hole). I have backed up to the last good hole and then tried it again but to no avail. It shows the movement line (white line) but will not mark the hole for some reason.
I have updated both the simple trace and firmware with the most recent versions (yesterday). I recently had similar issues when tracing another pattern, I was trying to cut some curves in a pattern using the curved line function, it worked a little but then would go off the rails and mark almost a halve circle (greatly exaggerated curve).
I love the idea of this machine but this is beginning to wear me out a bit.
