Hello. I just purchased a Everlast 82I and the Arc droid. Hooking up the wiring and curious what gauge everyone else is using for the ON / OFF. Arc droid OM says use 16 /18-gauge wire but the connector on the Everlast will only accept 22 gauge in the Soder pin of the connecter. Any help would be appreciated.
I was able to get an 18 Ga soldered on just the tip of connector. has been working for several months with lots of plugging and unplugging. I do THINK that a 22 ga. would work though as far as turning the plasma on/off if you have that.
Thanks for the feedback. I was able to get a seal pick in the hole and spread it out enough to get the 18-gauge wire in it. I also measured the pins with a caliper, and they are the same size as a 18-gauge wire so I striped off .5 inch of coating and put the wire directly in connector on plasma. Fit like a glove. Now I have to make a holder, so it does not come loose.
