I have not, but I think one would need to build an adjustable, spring-loaded mount in order to dial in a precise preload to the engraver.
I really don’t think it will work. It may well leave some marks as it buzzes about…. Remember that the Droids Z axis downward force is primarily gravity with a bit of spring pressure that varies depending on distance extended.
Its not that easy using one of those with your hand……
Yup… works fine as does a diamond point drag style engraver
Biggest issue is mounting in such a manner that you can get it calibrated.
