Multiple Trace parts?

When tracing a part, the zero seems to be hard coded to the part. To make a second cut of the same part, It seems we are required to maneuver the material to the zero point. I have not figured out how to reset the zero to the material to cut right where I want to.

Is this the current functionality or am I missing how to do it?

So you run one part and it finishes. Move the arm by hand to where you want the next part to be on your sheet. Tap the zero button. Part drawing shifts to the new zero. I generally sweep the arm about to the extremes of the part and look at the screen to see where the stylus is on the drawing. If it runs into problems, bring the head to where you want the new zero to be and tap Zero to slightly shift the layout to the improved location.

hope this is what your asking.

Figured out what I was missing.

I was forgetting to set the zero while creating the trace so the zero reference seemed kinda random due to it using whatever point it was at prior to making the trace.
