New cut table now having lock up issue

Have had my ArcDroid for about 3 years and I love it. Finally broke down and built a table for it. Now it keeps locking up , the screen goes blank and it just gets stuck where it’s cutting. Did some reading, sounds like classic HF interference issues. Why in the heck is it just now happening when I’ve used this thing for years. I’ve tried separating everything. As soon as it’s connected to that table it’s not happy. I have grounded the hell out of everything and even tried isolating The Arc Droid. No luck! Using a Lotos LTP5000D, same one I have used since I got it a few years ago.

Help! Anybody have any ideas?

Isn’t that a HF starter plasma torch? Maybe you now have the antenna right and problems arose.

I know it has a pilot arc ignition, not sure if it’s high frequency or not?

Pilot arc ignition me thinks is HF.

The LT5000D employs state of the art inverter technology. 50/60Hz frequency is inverted to high frequency (over 100 KHz) by V-MOSFET followed by step down voltage and rectification current.

UPDATE: got an insulated cat 8 cable to go to the control from the archdroid itself. Problem solved. Apparently it was picking up a lot of noise in that cable.

Thank you for the update! I just ordered a shielded cable as “preventative measures”.
