Offseting the torch with a spacer

Hi everyone, I’m trying to offset the torch from the holder to have better reach from the fixture we have made. The problem is that now when trying to cut a circle the torch is creating an oval, I tried re-calibrating the torch with the spacer but couldn’t cause the spacer offsets the torch 3” which is too far for the calibration triangle.

Can I fix this by spacing the triangle 3” away from the ArcDroid itself? Or can I do this on the Torch offset from the settings? I was trying to do this but it would be very off with any adjustment I made.

Yup, you can move the triangle anywhere as long as you keep it parallel to the machine.

There may be a mathematical limitation as how much the Droid can compensate between the stylus and torch positions. I know the offered pen mount is out a bit further than either torch or stylus. Apparently the included dongle that jacks into the stylus jack allows this but I don’t really know how it works. I don’t think relocating the calibration triangle will help your problem but worth a shot. Maybe try shortening up your extension or a temporary adjustable setup to find what may work.
