Too bad there isn’t a Padded footlocker for safe transport, hint hint.
Foot lockers are just plywood and hinges. Padding can be found a lots of places. You can go to Ulinie and buy some of the 2 part self expanding packer foam kits and make a mold to hold it tight. If you look around on the government surplus sites you could even find an affordable pelican case in most regards.
