Squealing when raising after cut

After installing updated firmware when it finishes the cut and raises up it squeals for a couple of seconds. It does not do it hen raising with the knob on the control panel.
What could be wrong

Double check your Max acceleration settings for you Z axis

Go to Settings-> Machine Settings-> Max Acceleration

It should be 30

However in some cases the machines left the factory at 60 by mistake. So in situations where the head has to move a long way up it will sometimes over shoot the max speed of the motor.

This is not related to the update it’s probably just a coincidence

Andrew, thank for the reply. Have changed the setting as you instructed. It is still doing it. It will raise, stop then squeal the stop and raise about 1/4”. I tried to send you a vidio but it would not go.
