The New Compatible Plasma Cutter List

I also have an Eastwood Versa Cut 60. Do you know why this plasma cutter is incompatible with ArcDroid? Have you used it much with the ArcDroid. How did you connect the Versa Cut to the ArcDroid. I would rather not have to buy a new plasma cutter if I don’t have to.
Thanks,
Chuck

@Chuck
Directly from the Eastwood web site

I use a Versa 60 all the time no problem. I did make an adapter cable. Not a issue.

A year later cuts fine.

Thanks, I appreciate the quick and accurate response. I’ll be searching for a plasma cutter compatible with the ArcDroid.

So any plasma cutter that uses the IPT-40, IPT-60, IPT-80, IPT-100 torches or equivalent will be suitable since this is a NON HF torch and requires blow back to ignite the pilot arc.

@Matt_UK
As a general rule Yes, however we have seen a couple weird cheap Chinese Outliers that still us HF as the ignition set up but use the IPT40 torch.

Many thanks for your prompt feed back.

Hi I see Princess auto as a pro cut 45 on sale it as inverter how do I know if it is Compatible ?

this was awhile ago, but it is really very simple on any plasma. all your doing is hooking onto the two wires from your trigger, most plasma cutters the trigger wire plugs into the machine already.

Tony,
I bought the Iyeah CUT80CNC also!
Works like a dream.
I am about to to connect my THC, have you tried the THC feature out yet?
I find that the Auto Level works good, but if your material is not perfectly flat, then that is where the trouble starts.
Just checking to see if you have connected the THC and what voltage divider you used.

Thanks in advance,
Henry George
