Hello all! I’ve been looking around online and thus far have been unable to locate anything that amounts to a cut chart for the HF titanium 45. Does anyone out there have a chart or a maybe even what you’ve found to be effective setting wise? Me and my A.I have put some time in and made progress but there’s only so much that the A.I can help with given the lack of documentation for the HF titanium 45. TIA.
There’s some good info in there, somewhat unclear as it relates to the specific material type. When I say cut chart I’m referencing the type of incredible documentation that comes with say, the Hypertherm PowerMax line for instance. There, as I’m sure you are aware, are a number of parameters that need addressing for any given thickness of steel i.e amperage, air pressure, travel speed, pierce height, pierce delay etc. While some of these parameters with remain with a small margin, they do change and can be the difference between 10 pierces on a set of consumable and 100. The major parameters can be somewhat extrapolated from 5/8th at 15IPM but this is likely going to produce results far from ideal but, I digress. Ultimately, I’m not looking to reinvent the wheel here, only learn from others who may have perfected the settings through trial and error, saving the rest of the community an incredible amount to time and consumables.
Just go to google and type in plasma cutting chart for pressure and voltages. After that I would just look at other brands of 45 amp plasma cutters for speeds and feed numbers. You might have to dial it in a little more but it should be pretty close.
Ouch. A good litmus test for the truth- whether it stings a bit. I’ll see if the finance department will approve the 2k expenditure… she said no. I’ll start the appeal process… still no.
Harbor freight sells good cutters don’t let people put you down over it I used this chart as a starting point [ill_cutchart_example2.webp (600×576)](file:///C:/Users/jimmy/OneDrive/Desktop/letters/arcdroid/ArcDroid/cut%20speeds/ill_cutchart_example2.webp)
Then go over to Amp Mechanic (2) Amp Mechanic - YouTube for his arcdroid set up then you have to get some scrap and start tweak till you like your cuts. I’m still learning everyone is, don’t let dumb a## get you down, last but not least have fun you own a cnc.
