I just received my ArcDroid “for Christmas” along with a BestArc BTC650xp Blow-Back plasma cutter and a IPTM60 machine-torch. I’ll be building a table for it starting in January when I get back to my shop. In the meantime I’ve started tinkering:
I designed a 3D printed upper-clamp converting the “Universal Torch Mount” into an “Extended Torch Mount” for the BestArc IPTM60 torch. And, following inspiration from YouTube’s AmpMechanic, I created a cross-hair laser aiming system for easy corner/center/start-position indicating. Mine is using a 18650 3.7v Li-ion battery which should give around 30 hours of laser use before needing a charge.
I’m looking forward to playing with the new toys!
