Building a table

Quick question I’m gonna build a table and I bout the x2 and not sure how long to make the table if you swing the arm around on both ends of the x2 rail you get almost 70” but not sure if it will cut outside the box which is 4ft in x2 but normal operation you can cut outside the box on the screen to the perimeter dash line ?
