Hello, I have been using the ArcDroid with the yeswelderd cut 65 nonHF plasma cutter for quite a while now, since I purchased the arcdroid. I’m aware that the yeswelder is not on the approved plasma cutter list but I have wired in to the trigger of the gun and it has been working very well with no issues, other than minor user errors. However recently it has not been wanting to start the arc on its own, the plasma cutter works manually and I have sometimes been able to manually start the arc and it will keep the arc going through the cut on its own I do not like to use it that way out of fear of messing something up. I used 14guage wire for my connection to the arcdroid and have even tried making a new wire for it but still have the same issue. It is up to date on the software and firmware if anyone else has had this issues and has been able to solve it any advice would be greatly appreciated.
check your basic stuff make sure your setting and switches are right my brother once flipped a switch on the front of my plasma just to see what it did, next check your ground to the piece not the table over time slag will build up on your slats and you will lose ground. Next check your air pressure at the machine i had similar issues come to find out my hose had collapsed cutting air flow also post picture’s so we can see issues you may be used to and are overlooking. Also replace your cat 6 cable in the beginning those caused a lot of issues. Last I can think of is check your settings on your control pad I’ve fat fingered and changed settings by mistake I use a stiles 100% of the time now.
Another basic: check the trigger wire continuity from ArcDroid to trigger. Especially while jiggling it around. It could have worn out over time.
