Cutting out of square

Howdy.

Having issues with the AD not cutting square. I have updated and recalibrated it very carefully multiple times. Arms are tight belts are tight. No slop when locking the steppers.

If I trace the triangle of the index points on the calibration triangle it is clearly out of square.

I posted in the FB page as well.

Any ideas?

Did you go back to factory calibration then do your calibration or are you stacking bad on top of bad?

I tried both. The first time I kept the old settings, but the next two times I reverted to factory.

You don’t by chance have something entered for A (angle) in the Transform screen? If that is at zero I suppose you could enter an angle to comp your results square.
I also see that your calibration triangle has one side going thru the interference arc of the Droids work envelope. Maybe try a calibration with the triangle spaced away from the base plate some.

It’s not that the parts are rotated but that the X and Y resolution is unequal. I can’t just offset the resultant cut.

If the calibration triangle line shouldn’t go through the machine interference line then that definitely indicates a problem with how the arcdroid is resolving the position.

I noticed that sometimes if when i home when forst starting up if the arm is too close to home it dosent home one arm. maybe that could cause your issue?

to fix it i pull the arm out before homing

A user on the Facebook page suggested a manual Gcode zero and shut off. That seems to have fixed the issue for now.
