Hello,

When I cut using Arcdroid, I’m having trouble getting the cuts to be perpendicular. Have you ever encountered this type of problem, and how did you resolve it?

Is that 1/2” steel? With the amount of dross/slag you’re getting you have some tuning to do.
What are your current plasma and Droid cut settings?
@vincent try grounding directly to your workpiece. Check out the link I attached showing the identical issue.

Could be..
worn consumables, esp the nozzle. Air pressure too high or not dry enough.
Feed rate too fast
I had similar issues due to moisture in the air. This was solved with Milton’s rwo-quart desiccant system that handles 100 CFM at 250 PSI and lasts quiet a long time per charge. A ball valve followed by two water traps leads into my dryer, then air is regulated aft. The desiccant beads can be baked at about 300 degrees and are good as new for another go. One of my posts shows that I squarely cut 1" plate with my Powermax45, an impressive feat!
I had that issue, it was a faulty torch. Manufacturer is sending a new one.
looking at the angle of the cut marks, your cut speed is too fast.
The ground is connected directly to the workpiece, not to the table.
The photo shows the Arcdroid settings; for plasma, the machine torch is set to 40 amps, and the consumables are new.
Cut speed is WAY too slow. When the speed is optimal, the amount of dross should be minimal and your cut will be a lot more square! What thickness is that? I cut 1/4" at 45 amps and around 50 inches per minute. Your cut speed is around 9 inches per minute for comparison.
