Face it, I’m a “beginner” at all of this! I’ve had good luck importing, as well as creating files in ArcDroid, but one feature that caught my eye in EstlCam is the ability to create “holding tabs” along the outer cut so that the center does not fall out.
I need help to figure out the plasma settings, as most of what I find has to do with engraving and routing. I need help setting things like clearance height, pierce height and cut height.
Hopefully this makes sense. Thank you
What kind of material and what thickness?
I’ve got the cutting speeds and amperage figured out, but I’m trying to figure out how to set the pierce, cut and clear heights in Estlcam
Sorry, I can’t help with Esticam
Did you ever find a way to do this? I use estalcam with my CNC router and like it. But I am running into the same issue. everytime I load a file I have made with it my cut hights are off and i have to adjust them in the tune section or the cut fails. Not a big deal when I remember but would be way easier if I could just change the settings in estalcam
I’ve decided that since I will always double-check the “tune” setting prior to hitting “run”, that I wouldn’t waste any time on it. Even if I was sure, I would still recheck.
