HELP! Errors, errors, errors

I recently purchased the arcdroid, x2, and flextable (along with pretty much everything else in the accessories section). After putting everything together and attaching my nonHF plasma cutter to it, I had issues with calibrating it (after unplugging from x2), and running even simple files downloaded from the shared files section here. I used a DXF of an address sign, consisting of a simple square with two stakes (along with an address and flamingo) and it would not perform more than a couple of cuts before an error would populate (see pictures - also an error saying “reset detected”—did not get a picture of that one). I ran the program about 20+ times to finally get it to finish, and when it did, the outside shape was drastically different than what was programmed and displayed on the UI.

Additionally, the screen appeared very jittery, with the orientation glitching back and forth.

It was extremely frustrating, to say the least.

This is 100% electromagnetic interference. What sort of plasma have you got?
Can we see a full view of your setup?

Tricks to reduce this.

  • remove the USB drive when cutting (some of them act as an antenna)
  • ensure all your cables are well separated
  • do not use a different/ longer comms cable for the screen
  • ground your table to shop ground (do not ground the silver encoder on the X2)

Jittery screen means you have a piece of dust stuck in the bezel near the orientation button. Give it a clean around the edges with a toothpick or something

I appreciate the assistance, I probably should have updated this. It was a damaged Cat6 cable, I replaced it - no more errors.
