Can you wire in a relay to start a high frequency plasma cutter?
You can’t. The electrical interference generated by high freq is what causes the problems with the ArcDroid. A relay will not help that.

Trust me we tried that…along with about 300 other things. But HF machines are just to unpredictable, and they vary so much machine to machine we just could not find a universal way around things
So for now the ArcDroid remains a low frequency only machine.

God I was hoping someone had a way around this. I really don’t want to buy another plasma cutter!!!
I hope to be getting my AD soon, but being in an engineering field, Has anybody thought of RF fabric? Ir is the problem that the fabric can not fully encompass the RF point of concern?
