Finally got to set up my x2 and the x axis is moving randomly and sometimes even keeps moving and doesn’t stop
Do you mean the arm is actually moving around? Or the numbers changing on the screen?
Make sure the silver rail on the X2 is clean and no metal is touching it. Make sure the sled that runs on this rail is properly seated.
Try moving your plasma supply further away from the cutting table to reduce possible interference.
There are several threads on this issue.
This is an improper ground connection between the encoder box and the silver rail it sits on
Check that the box is seated properly and make sure to clean the top of the rail (maybe even a scuff with some scotchbrite) ther eis s a little spring up inside that needs to be resting cleanly on the rail to make good contact

I had to move my plasma cutter further away, directly under the X2 caused the same problems. I was using a hypertherm 85 Sync
