I encountered a weird issue after attempting to setup our X2. After turning on the machine and running a homing process the X value mainly will just infinitely climb. It often starts around -5ish and within 30 seconds has made it to -9. The Y value will also drift but not as often as the x value. I have ensured that the most recent firmware for the unit and remote are installed, the board has solid connections, and a proper homing run is made. Nothing changes when the machine is zeroed or placed in other spots on the track. I have tried unplugging and replugging all connections in between power ons. I’m out of ideas and cannot seem to locate any other post with this same issue. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
DPfreez you are not the only one with this issue. I experienced this right after purchasing. I am a new user and was also trying to get THC up and running also so I Put it on the back burner hoping someone else would post about it and then we can all receive the fix. I have the Everlasting Powerplasma I62 that is all brand new from the box. I tried to revert back to the software that my droid was shipped with thinking it might be a parameter that was missing or had a false value. Needless to say I was not able to successfully revert to the old software. And now there are at least two of yes with similar issues along with a different user that had a x2 freakout when beginning the second half of a cut.

I battled with this problem for a while. Make sure the top of the silver encoder rail on the X2 is clean and this rail needs to be totally isolated ie not touching any of the table or the metal of the X2 frame. When i did this my X axis creep become very minor. The final solution was to move my plasma cutter as far away from the X2 as my cables would allow. I had the machine on a lower shelf under the X2 and it was causing interference.
good luck
