LASER on my ArcDroid!

Got my Raycus Fiber laser in last week. Finally got around to hooking it up to my ArcDroid
Here is a video of it cutting 3mm Carbon steel at 21 mm/sec:

I believe I can tweak it to be faster and even cleaner. It currently has about a 1mm kerf

It takes about 3 weeks to arrive, but a pretty reputable seller who covers the consumable lens under warranty.

This is pretty cool. I have a 2,000 watt laser welder/cleaner machine I picked up about two years ago with a Raycus power supply. I wasn’t sure if the Arcdroid could handle the weight. I do have a double wobble gun though.

I have the standard gun. It doesn’t weigh much more than my plasma cutter’s head, so no issues. I did have to cut my jerk settings down though, but I believe that was due to me cutting at 3048 mm/min (120 inches/min) though. I am using pure Oxygen as the gas so it is powerful!
