Hey folks! Just a quick note to thank you all for a fabulous year! ArcDroid has now shipped to 46 countries worldwide and we have more than 6,000 units in the field! It’s bigger and better than we ever hoped.
So I thought I’d drop a little Christmas gift on you all.
There is a new version of Simple Trace available Now!
Thank you for the Christmas gift, I’ve already updated my Simple Trace, and firmware, and now I’m ready for a tutorial to show me how to use it. Where might I find one?
Without you and your team being so dedicated to the Arcdroid world, where would we be? It has been an amazing ride so far and getting better.
On behalf of all Australian owners and users of your expertise and entrepreneurial genius :- SEASON’S GREETINGS and may the New Year bring you health and wealth.
It’s not obvious to me how the favorites works. I set my parameters, name it 16 ga 25A. Do the same thing for 14 ga. When I try to load by touching the first favorite, it wipes everything, resets everthing to for example, feed is 8 ipm, pierce, clear, cut Z is zero, etc. What am I missing? My units are inches.
This is great news. Simple Trace has been just as big of a game-changer as was promised and this will step it up even more. Not to mention the other improvements that I’ve not even digested yet!
If anyone is undecided on purchasing an ArcDroid, rest assured that it is everything promised. Small footprint, “Simple Trace”, built-in pattern library, torch height compensation, ability to import DXF and G-code files and the knock-out punch, incredible customer support.
I installed the new firmware and I have the same issue with the settings favorites feature. My guess is that the software is storing the Inches per minute value without converting to mm. Then when you select the favorite it is converting the stored value from mm to Inches. So my 110 IPM is stored as 110 then when I select the saved value 110 is converted from mm to inches and my 110 becomes 4.33 IPM. If you use metric measurements you may be unaffected.
Absolutely stoked that this update has come out. The new favourites menu is a great feature. I’ll now be able to save all my metal thickness settings so that I don’t have to refer to my hand written notes anymore haha. Such a great product! Merry Christmas and happy new year guys!
There are always bound to be problems, but the true test is how how Andrew and team respond. I went to bed with a ArcDroid problem and woke up to a solution. I wish it could always be this simple
