Getting close to burning with the laser. I’m not the first one to do it, but I see why it’s so attractive. The kerf is .2 mm!!

How thick of steel can you cut with that machine?
@Brad I attached a quick Short showing a manual cut on 1/2-in carbon steel. I wouldn’t recommend anything greater than quarter inch however, since the fine laser kerf has a tendency to bind up with dross. I don’t really have any need for fine detail work greater than a 1/4 inch anyways, so that’s when I use the plasma cutter. It just goes to show you how adaptable the ArcDroid really is. Just awesome detail work with the ArcDroid!
My original design was 11”. Used the ArcDroid to burn a quarter scale = 2.75” Came out with 2.795" = 45 thousandths off. Who do I trust ArcDroid or the Harbor Freight calipers?

Awsome. Very nice fine detailed work. I was checking out their web site, a little out of my price range for hobbyist. So it’s on my wish list. Thanks for the videos & pictures. I hope that you will post some more of your projects that you do.
