For reasons I wont bore you with, my Arcdroid will be about 20mm higher than the cutting surface, I haven’t used the Arcdroid yet but wondered if this is possible and/or what issues I might have.

None really- there are lots of adjustments’ for torch height

Just been watching some of your videos, you have the arcdroid proper dialed in 
If you feel that it is necessary, as I have, the torch carrier is mounted in a dovetail which will allow you to better center the z-height.
