Problems when homing or reaching full Z

Ive had my Arcdroid since March. I’ve been able to make a few cuts but it’s always struggled with the Z axis. Even though ive had my torch cable supported with a hook and a bungee cord. Ive played with the tension of the torch cable every way possible and for awhile I found a sweet spot. with no problems while cutting but it would still act up when reaching full height by hand or when Homing. every now and again it would make a noise some where in the middle while raising whether it was cutting or me just moving the torch up but it wouldn’t affect the cut or anything so I thought it was arbitrary machine noise.

Started taking the torch off to get it to home, that worked 3 times, but now it won’t home at all, even with the torch off. And it makes a terrible noise coming from inside the case when at full height.

took the case off to see what’s going on.

sorry in advanced for my lack of correct terminology

there’s a piece of all thread that a triangle shaped piece of plastic rides up and down on with the z cable attached to that piece of plastic. the plastic triangle I assume is supposed to be straight or level so it can hit the homing button underneath it when at full height.

for some reason my piece of all thread wobbles when raising or lowering the torch. and that piece of plastic is at an angle so it bottoms out on the low side before it hits that button. causing that noise.

not sure if it was cross threaded from the factory and gradually got worse or what.

anybody have this problem and know the fix? thanks!
