Howdy All,
I’m new to Arcdroid.
I have a Razorweld Cut45 cnc plasma cutter with the machine torch. We bought the cutter originally to use with a Langmuir table, but went the Arcdroid route instead.
We’re just getting it set up, and the Razorweld has two 2 pin connectors on the front to control torch firing and another function (can’t remember at the moment). As you know, the Arcdroid has connectors for the torch fire and 2 other aux ports. Are these polarity sensitive? I’ll have to clip the connector off the pre made harness and put connectors on to hook to the arcdroid and don’t want to hook up something wrong.
Thanks,
Jim
Polarity does not matter on the torch switch.
Make sure it is the torch switch connector by touching the two wires together while the plasma cutter is on.
The torch should fire.
I am not familiar with the Razorweld, but this way you will know you have the right connector.
I don’t know what the other connector on the Razorweld is, but if it is THC connection, it will have torch voltage.
A good digital multimeter will be helpful.
Just be sure it is the torch switch connector before connecting to your Arc Droid.
Happy cutting,
Henry
Thank you Henry. I’ll give it a test firing tomorrow
