Z-axis sensor problem

First of all, thank you for your time to look at my post.

I have used my ArcDroid without issue for a couple of cuts the other week then when I went to go use it this week I have a problem with the Z Axis sensor.

I was reading around about the False Probe problem. I am having the opposite problem, my Droid wont get a probe reading. It will lower past the probe and the cable will go loose. Then when it retracts to move to the next cut it will retract enough to pull off the material. A couple of times it has shown the error message “Probing Failed.”

I have a video showing what is going on. It probes fine the first time and it will retract, then as it goes to the second cut the issue shows. I looked under the flap to look at the pressure switch on the cable and it doesn’t look like anything is wrong with it. Especially since this problem is sometimes present.

Your plasma cord is hitting the plate it needs to be supported above your work piece I use a free floating arm that moves with the torch there’s hundreds of post showing how to fix this issue second don’t pull on your z access cable like that I about had a heart attack when I seen that good luck easy fix. Also your torch nozzle is rubbing on the material adjust your z height mines set about 2

Thank you for the quick response @Jdd, I know I read about supporting the cable all the time so I don’t know why I didn’t think of that. I think I just got caught up in the moment.

I’ll try that first. Thank you!

No problem that’s what we are here for.
