I run a laser and I calibrated with the laser head. If I change over to my plasma my cutter the offset is greater than the laser so my “calibration” is somewhat off. This results in slightly egged or trapazoidal parts. The parts are still functional just off. I assume there is no second machine calibration (yet). Will this be something available in the future? Or is there a workaround im not aware of…other than recalibrating when changing cutters. Maybe an adjustable torch mount option ?
The Droid does keep track of three offsets for what is mounted. The stylus, the torch head and the marking pen. The stylus and torch offsets are determined from actual calibration. The pen offset is set by a dongle inserted into the stylus jack. Don’t know how exactly that works…. Maybe you should rework your laser or plasma mounting so that they are the same location.
Yeah…Im looking at modifying the plasma mount to change the offset.
