My First Real Cut Job with the Arcdroid, please critique

Here is my first big boy cut with my arcdroid. It’s a plaque for my front gate. I will sand and powder coat it next weekend.

I own a lot of cnc machines, and the arcdroid was by far the easiest to learn and the outcome is so impressive compared to my lasers or cnc routers, because it’s metal!:grinning:

I want your critiques and suggestions I am new to plasma cutting and I want to learn, you don’t have to be kind. For instance I think i could have shortened my lead in?

Welcome, looks better than my first cuts!

Start your lead in on the drops.

I am too old and lazy to learn Cad, so you probably won’t ever see anything that complicated coming off my table.

Have fun with with the AD!

Enjoy,
Henry

Thanks Henry! I created it in vcarve, it’s not too hard to learn they have good youtube videos that teach you step by step.

Can I start the lead ins on the drops through the AD interface? I imported this to the AD via a DXF file

I can’t answer your question about changing the lead in.

Like I said in my earlier post, I am too old and lazy to learn Cad!
But I am sure someone else here will chime in and be able to help you. This forum is a populated with a great group of very knowledgeable and helpful people!

Sorry I can’t help,
Henry
