Torch height during program varies tremendously

I have a dxf file I want to cut, I set up the arcdroid, do all the tune settings, get it to where it will dry fire run with parameters I like, then press the torch fire button, and the arcdroid buries the torch in the workpiece, or raises torch too high, all this without changing anything. I’m beyond frustrated.

I have adjusted the torch in the holder, I have blown out the plunge limit switch…these usually work. But not today.

I’ve spent 45 min trying to make the most basic piece…

Do a reboot on the controller then re home, zero than re load your file and see if that helps sometimes I have had that happen my guess the Droid just needs a fresh start also make sure your tune setting are set to inches or mm for whatever measurements you’re using your cuts could be saved in mm and your running mm remember NASA lost a probe because someone didn’t check.
